Euroatla at Escola Náutica

On May 14th 2018, Euroatla participated in a class for the final year students of Port Management and Logistics/Transportation Management degrees at Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique. The invitation was made by Marta Sampaio, teaching the subject of Commercial Maritime and Port Management at this School.

Euroatla has accepted this invitation, as we believe it is very important for students to have access to knowledge and experience from people who are actively working in the area. Ana Gonçalves (Business Director) and João Horta (Sales /Freight Forwarding) were the speakers in this class.

At the beginning of the class, the speakers gave a brief presentation about their professional path and an introduction to Euroatla's organization and activities. The main discussion was focused on the the dynamics between Shipping Agents and Freight Forwarders, commercial negotiation, and documentation. These subjects have generated great momentum due to their complexity.

There were many questions and comments from students. Along with the answers, the speakers have shared real-life examples. At the end of the class, the group agreed to record the moment with a photo.
