The transaction completes the integration of the two companies, which began in 2024, under the Euroatla Logistics brand
Euroatla announces the completion of its merger with Igacargo, effective from 1 October 2026. This transaction marks the legal completion of an integration process that began in 2024 and reflects an ongoing commitment to sustained growth and to strengthening the range of services offered to both companies’ customers.
Following this integration, Euroatla now has a combined workforce of 45 employees and a turnover of approximately €23 million, strengthening its capacity to provide international freight transport services tailored to customers’ needs. Euroatla Logistics’ service offering covers sea, air and road freight, including time-critical transport, customs and documentation services, and integrated logistics services. The brand is evolving into Euroatla Logistics, with a new visual identity to accompany this new phase.
“This merger is a concrete step in Euroatla’s growth strategy. In Portugal, SMEs need to scale up to invest, potentially expand internationally, and retain talent. Growth through acquisition is the approach we have chosen to achieve this while preserving what sets us apart: our close relationships with customers. For those working with Igacargo or Euroatla, the essentials remain the same: the same people and the same contacts, now with greater capacity and a more comprehensive service offering under the single Euroatla Logistics brand,” says Sandra Ayres, CEO of Euroatla.
For Igacargo’s customers, suppliers, and agents, this transaction brings no changes to the services provided or their usual points of contact. Bringing together the expertise and experience of both teams reinforces Euroatla’s commitment to the service excellence that has always been its hallmark.
