Workshop "How to do business in Japan"

On May 22nd, Fundação AIP hosted the Workshop "How to do business in Japan: challenges and opportunities", in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce Portugal-Japan and in partnership with Euroatla.

The main topic of this Workshop was the new trade agreement between EU and Japan, which will be implemented in 2019. This trade agreement will remove most of the import tariffs in EU products. The Japanese market will be open to imports of mostly food products, and opportunities will increase in a wide range of sectors.

The speakers were Paulo Ramos, President of the Chamber of Commerce Portugal-Japan, Ana Fernandes, Cultural Translator at CHAM - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and Ana Gonçalves, Business Director at Euroatla.
